by John Aquila insay you could go back in time to when you were 15 years old.
no watchtower in your life.
but the experience you have now you could keep.

Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...
by titch ingreetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.
and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.
but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

1975 was the work of men who believed they could predict the end. They disregarded Christ's admonitions and did what they themselves thought was good. Sad men who will in the resurrection be humiliated. -

Captive virgins, polygamy and sex slaves: What marriage would look like if we actually followed the Bible

An open mind seeks to examine all views and possibilities. An open mind is not restricted to one view or possibility. An open mind is not settled with clinging to what they believed yesterday or today. An open mind is free from fear. An open mind does not follow anyone.
An open mind is never content to simply "know" but rather to continually seek to know even when the knowing is uncomfortable or unacceptable. Even when the knowing destroys one's firm beliefs or disbelief. An open mind is not fixed.

So why did God allow barbaric laws to be part of his "inspired" book?
They were not "barbaric" at the time. Do you actually think that laws allowing women's rights, rights of slaves, of homosexuals, of freedom of religion, of all the freedoms we have today, would have been accepted by the Jewish men of Moses' day? Would the men of the time bent their backs to such laws? No! They were not ready.

Matthew 19:4-6, "And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
Matthew 19:7-9, They say unto him, Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses for your hardness of heart suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it hath not been so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery." (ASV)
Not everything in the "Law of Moses" was directly from God.

According to William Malenfant the serpent in the garden was a "she".
by Hold Me-Thrill Me inon jw broadcasting malenfant's latest video, "do not be misled by the wicked" states (@ 4:30) "did it (the serpent) take a bite of the forbidden fruit and because of that was she allowed to gain this ability to speak?".
where does malenfant get the idea that the serpent in the garden was female?.
interesting, because malenfant, like the governing body, adds to scripture what is not there.

Interesting, because Malenfant, like the Governing Body, adds to scripture what is not there. In scripture the one behind the serpent is always recognized as Male.
Malenfant needs to get some faith under his belt. Jesus is the head of the congregation.

You too, invent your "new light"
by coalize ini had this idea of topic when john aquila made me laugh in one of his post when he said : new light!the governing body has the right to have sex with all the new virgins that get baptized before they get married.. and then i've decided to open this topic to ask this (stupid but funny) question : if you was in the gb, what's the "new light you will want to fight for?

New Light:
The Governing Body will fall to Corporate Officers and Helpers.
(Revelation 18:2) . . .“She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen, and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a lurking place of every unclean exhalation and a lurking place of every unclean and hated bird. . ."
